Whether it's pain, performance, or both — the answer is in how your shoulder actually moves. And that's exactly what we assess.
For anyone dealing with shoulder pain, past injury, or a plateau they can't train through.
Most patients notice something different before they leave — easier overhead reach, less pain on a press, or stronger activation where it was missing. It doesn't always look the same, but something shifts.
The movement assessment reveals the specific mobility and strength deficits behind your pain or plateau — things that don't show up on a generic PT screen or a YouTube stretch routine.
Not a printout of band exercises. A real roadmap — built for your body, your lifts, and getting back to training without flinching.
Dr. Jeff holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and works out of a CrossFit and golf performance background. Most PTs don't train the way you do — he does.
I had been dealing with a nagging rotator cuff injury for about 6 months when I found Jeff. I couldn't raise my arm much above shoulder level and had a constant ache and intermittent sharp pains. I'd tried an orthopedic doctor and a different PT and ended up spending a lot of money for zero improvement — I couldn't sleep, couldn't golf, couldn't lift. His program was different: he wanted me in the gym, encouraged me to keep lifting and adding weight, and tried new things every week to keep me progressing. Now about 3 months in, I'm back to lifting regularly, can play 18 holes without any pain, and can finally sleep through the night again.
Jeff won't just send you through the same list of stretches and machines you'll find in many practices. Our sessions were more like a garage-style workout, and he was knowledgeable in how to not only resolve my current problem, but strengthen it to avoid continued issues in the future. So thankful for his expertise getting me back to doing what I love most.
He made me rethink how to rehab injuries — a strong emphasis on strengthening, not just massage and stretching. His sessions feel like a CrossFit-inspired workout that's not only rehab-oriented, but I come out feeling stronger overall and motivated to improve my fitness further. I have now been pain-free for six months, all while doing push-ups and pull-ups.
Jeff is amazing to work with. He will help you find the root of the problem and then help you fix it. I'm back to doing CrossFit again and wouldn't be anywhere near where I'm at now without his help. Totally recommend!

I started Invictus Rx because I kept seeing the same thing play out in traditional PT clinics — patients declared "fine" and sent home, still not training at the level they wanted to be at. Pain-free was the finish line. It shouldn't be.
I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and I come out of a CrossFit and strength training background myself — which means when you tell me your shoulder gives out on a push press or you're avoiding pull-up day, I know exactly what that costs you.
My job isn't to get you out of pain and out the door. It's to build something stronger than what you had — a shoulder that keeps up with the training you're not willing to give up.
I practice inside Tee Box — a real training facility, not a sterile treatment room.

Most PT clinics evaluate you in a sterile treatment room with no connection to how you actually move or train. We're in house at Tee Box — a real training environment with real equipment.
If you don't leave feeling like we did everything we could to understand your shoulder — or you don't feel confident in the plan we built together — your assessment is completely free. No awkward conversations. We stand behind our work.
Not necessarily. Some people come in because something hurts. Others come because they've plateaued on their press or pull-up numbers and can't figure out why. If your shoulder is limiting you in any way, this assessment will show you exactly where and give you a plan to fix it.
Most PT clinics run a generic shoulder screen regardless of who you are. We look at your shoulder through the lens of how you actually train — overhead pressing, pulling, gripping — and identify the specific mobility and strength patterns behind your pain or plateau. It's why people leave with real answers instead of a printout.
Most patients notice something different before they leave their first session — easier movement, reduced pain, or stronger activation. Most significant issues improve substantially within a handful of sessions, though longer-term chronic issues take more time. Either way, we're not in the business of stringing people along.
We're a performance-based practice. Every minute of your appointment is focused on you — no insurance hoops, no double-booked slots. Most patients have insurance and many use HSA/FSA funds. We provide receipts after every session for potential reimbursement.
Gym clothes you can move in. That's it. Show up ready to move.
